Alisa Kovalenko's documentary "Traces" will be released in 2024

«Traces» is a psychological multi-portrait of Alisa Kovalenko, which tells the stories of the painful experiences of 6 remarkable women, who survived sexual violence and torture during Russia's aggression in Ukraine.

The film offers a deep and unflinching study of the lives of those survivors who are members of Sema Ukraine today, the network of survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, fighting for justice and recognition of the crimes committed against them. Their stories of courage, resilience and unwavering determination serve as a confirmation of the ability of the indomitable human spirit to find strength in the face of adversity and turn post-traumatic experience into post-traumatic growth.
