The NGO SEMA Ukraine, together with the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, held a competition for students of the Verkhniotoretsk educational complex "Ukraine of the Future".
The NGO SEMA Ukraine, together with the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, held a competition for students of the Verkhniotoretsk educational complex "Ukraine of the Future".
Participants' age : from 1 to 10 grade
Participants submitted creative works in the following genres:
1. Author's text (essay-portrait, essay, story)
2. Video story
3. Drawing
All works reflected how children see our Ukraine in the future.
Awards:
1-2 city in each nomination - a week-long trip to Prykarpattia during the fall holidays.
3rd city in each nomination - books by contemporary authors with inscriptions, special gifts and a set of sweets.

- Liudmyla Huseinova, Communications Director of the NGO "SEMA Ukraine"
Verkhnyotoretsk school in Donetsk region was destroyed in the occupied city. The children were evacuated and continue to study remotely at their school registered in the government-controlled territory. The winners of the competition - nine children accompanied by two teachers - came to Uzhhorod for a week for an interesting and intense program of recreation during the fall holidays.
Andriy Kryuchkov, representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Zakarpattia region, together with Volodymyr Havrysh, head of the Modern Ukraine Charitable Foundation, presented the winners with 9 tablets as part of the For Kids UA social project. The tablets will facilitate access to a wide range of educational resources that will enrich students' knowledge wherever they are.
Also, all the children who took part in this contest will receive books as a gift, some of them with exclusive inscriptions from authors and famous people of Ukraine. Many people responded and sent books that will be handed over to the principal of this school to restore the children's school library.
The organizers of the contest thank everyone who participated in the children's contest and book collection! They thank the participating children, their parents and teachers! The city will definitely be liberated and the school will be restored. Our children are our future!
