Yesterday, a very important visit for our country took place. Nadia Murad Bassi Taha is an Iraqi human rights activist of Yazidi origin, Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, winner of the Vaclav Havel Human Rights Prize, the Andriy Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought together with Lamia Aji Bashar, and the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.
We are proud to have been invited to this meeting, grateful for Nadia's personal attention to our NGO "SEMA Ukraine" and to each of us. Nadia's words of support to us inspire us to fight for the rights of other women, give us the strength to demand punishment for Russia and its scum for sexual crimes during the war against our Ukraine.
Together we will win
