Representative of SEMA Ukraine draws attention to civilian women in captivity at a press conference in Ukrinform

On 9.11.2023, Ukrinform hosted an event with the participation of the NUJU, the Patriot Group, and SEMA Ukraine. They talked about prisoners of war. Liudmyla Huseinova drew attention to civilian women in captivity.​

The following issues were discussed at the press conference:

• Combining efforts to better inform Ukrainians and the international community about the problems of accounting for and searching for missing persons under special circumstances, as well as about the activities of state authorities and civil society organizations in these areas.
• Improving the skills of journalists in understanding the problems of accounting for and searching for missing persons under special circumstances.
• Promoting a high level of psychological support and resilience in relation to the search and waiting period for families of missing persons under special circumstances.
• Providing the audience of Ukrainian and foreign media with reliable information on the search for such persons.
• Interaction and joint actions of families to search for missing persons under special circumstances.
• Glorification of the deeds of soldiers and Ukrainians of all professions who are writing the history of a free Ukraine with their lives.
