Olena Apchel's address to the women of France 8.03.2024

On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity of Women in the Struggle for Rights and Emancipation, SEMA Ukraine member, Olena Apchel (filmmaker and volunteer, cultural critic), prepared an appeal at the request of women activists in France. These are two organisations that support Ukraine: ADDP (Defence de la Democratie en Pologne), Pour l'Ukraine, pour leur liberté et la notre and our dear friend Joanna Lasserre. This appeal touches on many topics at the same time: the struggle for independence, war crimes, women's solidarity, resilience and sisterhood, the transformation of feminism, the lack of privilege for pacifism, the fight against imperialism and patriarchy, overcoming transgenerational trauma and traumatic growth.
